Los peloteros juveniles inundan el sorteo de novatos de la Doble A PDF Imprimir E-mail

Más de 400 jugadores juveniles figuran en la lista de novatos disponibles y aproximadamente 50 han sido reclamados para la temporada 2012 del Béisbol Superior Doble A.

El Sorteo de Novatos, programado para el martes 29 de noviembre, contará con los mejores prospectos del patio y estelares jugadores del torneo juvenil de la Federación de Béisbol de Puerto Rico.

Uno de los peloteros juveniles que promete dar de que hablar en el 2012 es el arecibeño Jorge Guzmán, quien fue reclamado por residencia por los Lobos de Arecibo.

Guzmán es el líder nacional en cuadrangulares conectados del torneo juvenil con cinco.  Además, es el quinto bateador con el mejor promedio nacional con .481 y líder en empujadas con 32.

El jugador de cuadro interior, Jesmuel Valentín Diaz fue reclamado por residencia por los Atenienses de Manatí.  Valentín Diaz es hijo del ex grandesligas, José "Tony" Valentín.

También fue reclamado por residencia  Yariel González, quien defenderá los colores de los Patrulleros de San Sebastián.  González es el cuarto mejor bateador a nivel nacional con .490 de promedio.    Es hermano de Dariel González, uno de los jugadores juveniles del equipo pepiniano.

El lanzador Daniel Ortiz fue reclamado como hijo de franquicia por los Cafeteros de Yauco. Es uno de los tres lanzadores con foja de 5-0 en el torneo juvenil.  El también lanzador Brian Ruiz ocupa la lista de jugadores disponibles y es el lanzador estelar de los Arecibo Santos en la Doble A Juvenil.

Otro que tampoco está reservado es Yamil Santiago, líder nacional del torneo juvenil en bases robadas con 24.  

El Sorteo de Novatos 2012 será celebrado el martes 29 de noviembre a las 6 pm en la Casa Olímpica en San Juan.
